Minimum qualifications: 

  • must be a LDEQ certified Lead Risk Assessor and have applicable field experience collecting samples and using handheld X-ray fluorescent (XRF) analyzers.


Preferred qualifications: 

  • Experience working lead based paint risk assessments for the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program. 
  • Be able to complete at least fifteen (15) assessments per week


Job Description: 

  • Be able to navigate program software and schedule appointments with homeowners
  • Must possess customer service skills for interaction with homeowners
  • Be able to perform lead based paint risk assessments in compliance with all EPA, LDEQ and Restore Program guidelines
  • Be able to obtain dust, soil and paint samples
  • Be able to adequately operate and maintain a handheld xrf analyzer
  • Be able to transfer data into program software and submit completed files in accordance with program guidelines
  • Package samples and ship them at the end of each day
  • Must be able to manage time independently and complete all assigned tasks
